Built for remote Western Australian conditions

Remote pest-control work requires more than field equipment. Diesel n Dust Hunting operates with systems developed from experience in mining, remote operations and safety-critical environments.

Our approach incorporates job-specific risk assessment, JHA/JSA processes, communications planning, journey and fatigue management, vehicle inspections, exclusion controls and client-specific procedures.

Where work is undertaken beyond normal mobile coverage, Starlink and offline GPS capability provide additional communications and operational resilience.

Clear records after the work is finished

Every professional operation should leave the client with more than a verbal result. Fox GPS allows field activity to be recorded against the relevant property and session, providing clear operational information that may include:

  • Areas travelled and GPS tracks
  • Pest locations and species
  • Date and time
  • Field effort
  • Notes and images
  • Control outcomes

This information can then be compiled into a professional client or landholder report. See Fox GPS for Professional Pest Control Australia for the software workflow.

Agricultural and pastoral pest control

We can develop property-specific programs for livestock, cropping and pastoral operations where vertebrate pests are causing economic, environmental or animal-welfare impacts.

  • Individual targeted operations
  • Multi-night control programs
  • Seasonal programs
  • Lambing protection programs
  • Follow-up work after broader control activity
  • Multi-property programs
  • Remote station deployments

Government, shire and resource-sector capability

Diesel n Dust Hunting is developing a contractor model suitable for formal commercial engagements requiring stronger documentation, reporting and safety systems.

Capability documentation, SOPs, JHAs, insurance information, operational plans and supporting records can be supplied as required for suitable engagements.

All work remains subject to the permissions, licences, authorities and site-specific requirements applicable to the individual job.

See Government, Shire & Corporate Vertebrate Pest Control WA for the dedicated commercial and procurement pathway.

Firearm-only service

Our professional shooting service is firearm-only. We do not apply restricted pesticides, poisons or chemical pest-control products.

This allows the service to remain focused on targeted field shooting while complying with the regulatory and authority requirements applicable to each operation.

Common questions about vertebrate pest control

Which areas do you assess?

We assess suitable work around Moora, Miling, Badgingarra and the wider Wheatbelt, with remote and pastoral enquiries in the Murchison and elsewhere in WA considered against access, travel and the project scope. See our Wheatbelt service information or remote operating capability.

Can you support seasonal or repeat work?

Yes. Suitable work can be scoped as a targeted operation, a multi-night program or planned follow-up around livestock, cropping and station requirements. We agree timing and reporting with the landholder before deployment.

What determines the quote?

The property location, target species, recent activity, access, travel, crew requirements and reporting scope all affect the quotation. Send those details through the quote form for a property-specific assessment.
