Our recent Nocpix field footage covers more than a clear image in an empty paddock. We have been looking at how the equipment feels and what the image shows when the scene includes livestock, smaller animals, vegetation and changing terrain.
In the clip shared on 1 October, the view moves from a wide field of livestock to a smaller animal among vegetation. Our focus was on target definition, detection and tracking in a busy field setting.
The 9 October clip adds another environment: trees and scrub after dark. It includes a look at the setup as well as footage recorded through the Nocpix thermal.
Why we share different settings
These sessions give customers a more useful starting point than product photographs alone. Open-country viewing and closer work around vegetation place different demands on how an optic is used. We want our field content to show that context alongside the equipment.
We will keep sharing footage and practical impressions as the range gets more time in the field. Tell us whether you would like to see more open-country footage, closer work or a look at the thermal settings.
Watch the livestock and vegetation field clip and see the night session in the scrub.
